WORD PROCESSING & FORMATTING

Libre Office

I’ve been using this for about 3 years now, and have had more success with it than with the paid WP applications. It’s essentially plain vanilla WP, simple and straightforward, easy to use. It will save your writing in Word if you wish, and you can export directly to PDF or EPUB. If you don’t need bells and whistles, go ahead and give it a try!
